Our Grants

Since our formation in the summer of 2007, we have raised over $975,000.  Absolutely no money went to any of the board members — we pay our own expenses to conferences, hotels, flights, and rental cars.

We have awarded grants to the following institutions:

• University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center (an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center)
• Women and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island
• Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital (an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center) 
• Cancer Research Center of Hawaii (an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center)
• Weill Cornell Medical College (New York)
• Summa Health Systems (Ohio)
• Childrens Hospital of Atlanta (Georgia)
• University of Wisconsin

NCI-designated cancer centers are characterized by scientific excellence and the capability to integrate a diversity of research approaches to focus on the problem of cancer.
